Our Right Heart
OUR RIGHT HEART
Animals were created before man. Therefore, man should learn from animals in most cases.
Turtle
Turtle can lay an average of 110 eggs per nest. In one season it can have 2-8 nests. It takes 45- 90 days depending on certain conditions for the eggs to hatch. Sometimes, gender of the offspring depends on the temperature: when it’s cold, the offspring become male and when it’s hot they become female.
Though so many turtles are hatched in a single period, only 1% get to get into the ocean. This is mainly because of the predators. Vultures and crabs enjoy feeding on these baby sea turtles while they are on their way to water bodies. Out of 800 possible baby turtles, only one gets to survive.
In a single day, man is said to have more than 20000 thoughts. However, not all of them remain in him but just few which are pleasant to him
Ant
Ant lives in thousands in places called Ant Hill. Scientists have proven that a single ant can produce approximately 0.5 mcg of methane gas per day. This methane gas is very harmful since it tears off ozone layer. However, if you bring all termites together they may count up to 250 trillion which in turn can produce close to 20 million tones of methane gas per day.
Jelly Fish
Jelly fish lives in ocean. This is what most jellyfish do. They squeeze their bodies in order to push jets of water from the bottom of their bodies to propel the jellyfish forward. There are enough of these animals in the ocean and while moving the scientist says the can cause waves if they are in high number.
Butterfly
Butterfly’s wings in Brazil set off a tornado in Texas The phrase refers to the idea that a butterfly's wings might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that may ultimately alter the path of a tornado or delay, accelerate or even prevent the occurrence of a tornado in another location.
Little Fox
Foxes are very small animals, weighing between 0.7 grams to 1.6 grams. However these animals are very harmful.
Song of Songs 2:15
“Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom”
A Vineyard garden had to be fenced all around. There is no way outside animals could have found their way to the garden, but in this book, there are foxes in the vineyard. Foxes do not eat plants, but they are destroying the vineyard.
These foxes are our good thoughts. Thoughts which are bad or unpleasant to us we easily throw them away but good thoughts we keep and tend to remember those most often. These thoughts however, will just destroy us eventually.
The bible says “catch for us”
Jesus at the temple
John 2:13-15
When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
Jesus entered in to the temple and drove out doves and oxen and sheep as well as money changers. These people were keeping the clean animals in the temple which were used to offer sacrifices. Unclean animals like donkeys and pigs were not in the temple. However it is the clean animals that Jesus drove out.
These clean animals represent our good thoughts, our good deeds. This is what Jesus want to drive out of your. Complements and good work brings arrogance in our heart but we cannot throw them away by ourselves, Jesus has to do this work.
Proverbs 14:12
“There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death”. Most times we tend to have thoughts which in reality seems right, but they result to destruction.
Money Instead of Chicken
There was a couple who went to picnic and on their way they got hungry and decided to but chicken for lunch. But instead of chicken, the seller gave them a box which was full of money. It wasn’t long before he realized he hgad made a mistake and he ordered all doors to be closed for search. He also called the police and media personalities also followed. On the picnic garden they the couple opened the box and found it was full of money, they felt guilty and offered to return the money. The owner was very happy and he advised the camera man to take a photo of them and publish them on the newspaper for the act of kindness.
The couple however did not agree for they were not real couple but in a unwanted relationship, but before they could get out, their faces had already been seen on T.Vs and they were exposed to the public.
This thought of kindness and was very genuine to them but in the end it is just but a disaster. This is the same with our mind, we think of good things and keep them inside of us but the end of them all is destruction. What disturb us most are not bad things but that which seems right in our heart. OUR RIGHT HEART is the main problem.
