My righteousness is like a filthy rag before God
My Name is Naomi Njue.
Before I received salvation, I lived a very miserable life trying to do good and to please God. I was born and brought up in a religious family where I was taught from early age that a person must do good in order to inherit the kingdom of heaven. Little did I know that my righteousness is like a filthy rag before God. (Isaiah 64:6) but by God’s grace I attended IYF Youth Culture camp in July 2015 and through the word preached and fellowship in our group meetings.

I realized that Jesus died on the cross for my sins as John 1:29 says “Behold the lamb of GOD who takes the sin of the world”. And that God doesn’t remember my sins anymore. As recorded in Hebrews 10:17. Through the Bible I got to know that Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes; Romans 10:4, that without the law, there is no sin.

On 30th Aug. 2015 I was made righteous, holy and perfect like God as the Bible says in 1st Peter 1:15-16. I was very happy because the burden of sin and the condemnation in my heart was lifted away, my heart became light. Now as I live in church, I have experienced much grace and my life has changed positively.
On her graduation day
For example, before I received salvation, I used to live in great fear .I would fast pray asking Gods protection from ancestral curses. Neither did I know that God doesn’t hear sinners according to John 9:31. But after I received forgiveness of sin, God gave me this word in Colossians 1:13….” 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: God has delivered me from the power of darkness and conveyed me into the kingdom of the son of his love.
On her wedding day, with the husband Nicholas Njue
I now rest in the kingdom of Gods dear son. Through the guidance of the church, I joined Mahanaim cyber Theology and I graduated in July 2018. Also by God’s grace and guidance of the church, I got married to a very loving and handsome husband .I now live a happy and joyful life knowing that Jesus took all my sins and my sorrows, my sickness, my shame to Calvary. The chastisement for my peace was upon him. (Isaiah 53:1-12)
